Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Education / Teaching Assistant to support our teaching staff and contribute to the development of our students. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the educational experience and promoting a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and delivering engaging activities.
  • Support individual students and small groups with learning tasks across various subjects.
  • Facilitate a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers regarding learning outcomes.
  • Help maintain classroom organization and resources, including preparing teaching materials.
  • Encourage positive behavior management and conflict resolution among students.
  • Participate in school events and contribute to a team-oriented approach in educational practices.

Job Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Experience in a classroom setting or working with children preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with diverse groups of students.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Portuguese is an advantage.
  • Commitment to supporting the educational and personal growth of students.
